Hydra Winds is a dynamic wind quintet based in the Northeast. Hydra Winds’ passion for expanding the wind quintet repertoire is evident in their commitment to premiering and commissioning new works by emerging and established composers. The ensemble has been under the mentorship of renown artists including Valerie Coleman, Monica Ellis, Charles Neidich, and David Loud.

 

The quintet has earned accolades for their captivating performances, including winning the esteemed Lillian Fuchs Chamber Competition.
